Smooch & Rose

Rose's life changes when she and her grandmother rescue an orphaned koala joey from a dangerous encounter with wild dogs. The tiny koala, affectionately named Smooch because of his love for cuddles, soon becomes part of the family. With guidance from a local wildlife carer, Rose helps raise him until he is ready to live independently among the trees surrounding their strawberry farm.

Life on the farm feels perfect—until unexpected financial troubles threaten everything Rose holds dear. As worries about the future grow and talk of development begins, Rose realises that both her home and the local wildlife could be at risk.

Determined to protect the place she loves, Rose sets out to prove that even one person can make a meaningful difference. With courage, determination and a little help from Smooch, she discovers that small actions can have a powerful impact.
